National Parks Restrict E-Cig Use

National Parks advised that it restrict e-cig use at all its locations, same rules as tobacco smokes.

“Protecting the health and safety of our visitors and employees is one of the most critical duties of the National Park Service,” director Jonathan Jarvis said in making the announcement. “We are therefore extending the restrictions currently in place protecting visitors and employees from exposure to tobacco smoke to include exposure to vapor from electronic smoking devices.”Vapour exhaled from e-cigs and other electronic nicotine-delivery systems controls nicotine in a-level about one tenth of that identified in secondhand smoke, Jarvis mentioned.

The plan creates National Park Service assistance with using vaporizers and it goes into effect right away.
