California Changing Their Smoking Age To 21

The state Senate on Thursday gave final legislative approval to bills that will control e-cigarettes and increase the smoking age to 21 in California, delivering them to Gov. Jerry Brown for thought. Backers of further cigarette controls employed a special legislative meeting to push thru laws that had bogged down during routine meetings, transferring them through fresh committees not commanded by competitors. The expenses were accepted last week by the Assembly.


Many Republicans voted against both laws.
